Non Ferrous Metal VCI Protection Films
Non Ferrous Metal carries three specialty VCI papers for the
protection of three specific non-ferrous metals. It is important to match up the
correct VCI product to the metal you are protecting in order to provide the
most complete protection available.
It also provides protection of aluminum and aluminum parts. In the contact
phase, it will prevent spotting, white rust and corrosion on aluminum. In short
it is suitable for press and stamping knock down parts.
VCI Film Bubble Laminates
VCI Film Bubble Laminates is made up of standard LDPE & LLDPE grades with
self produced VCI master batch protect ferrous & non-ferrous metals from
corrosion. VCI film bubble laminates provides better protection from corrosion
and rusting along with the excellent moisture barrier properties. VCI Film Bubble
can be laminated onto various materials to enhance durability, machine ability
Durable VCI Films
The VCI is incorporated into the inner film layer. After packaging, VCI chemicals diffuse into the "atmosphere" surrounding the coil, preventing the onset of corrosion and maintaining the steel in perfect condition. When only a single layer of VCI-containing film is used, half of the VCI diffuses outwards, into the air, and is lost.
Adding a second, outer protection film dramatically extends the life of the VCI by reducing its diffusion into the atmosphere. This extends the corrosion-free
life of coils that are stored for extended periods or in hostile environments (high humidity, high brine levels, high temperature). Highly durable VCI film used for steel coil packaging.
